It will not be long before we are once again hooking Steelhead in the Bulkley, Skeena Kispiox, and other rivers in the North West British Columbia.

Check this beauty out. Go Ahead and smile I would.

Fly Fishing for Steelhead - BIG RED FLY BOX

If you have not yet been here and experienced Steelhead like this on a fly, then it should be on your to-do list. See you all on the rivers this fall. ( Big Red )

Here are only a small hand full of Fall Steelhead taken on a fly.

For those members that have not customized their profiles yet, it is now easy to follow the template, just go to your profile and click on the easy edit bottom, and away you go. You need not fill out more details then you want your fellow fly fishers to know about you. Making friends, and sharing knowledge and suggestions that make us all better fly fishers. We all would like to know names and places you fish and the Rivers that you like to be on. I share my knowledge and my places and friends and in return I learn and improve and enjoy my experiences. Seeing old friends, meeting new ones, but most of all experiencing what a beautiful place I have here in Telkwa. Seeing Black bears, occasionally and some times frequently Grizzly bears, as we fish where they fish, most often without any problems. Beavers to Wolvorines are seen along these rivers and the flyways of miratory birds and birds of pray. Sometimes you see nature and the wild in conflict as these birds of pray hunt, and kill to survive and feed thier young. This following picture says it all, as the sun rises on the Seven Sisters mountain range and viewed from the shores of Skeena River. ( Big Red )

This picture is of me hooking another steelhead on the Skeena River in late October 2006. I was useing the fly Demon Dancer tied on a 2/0 Bartlet Traditional Salmon Fly Hook. These Partridge hooks are sharp and very strong. A good file is required to put a sharp edge on them if they get dull. ( Big Red )
